An interview with Distrustful Dinosaurs (Westley Hennigh-Palermo)
Pigeons are among the most visible inhabitants of urban space, yet their presence is rarely treated as part of the city’s architectural or ecological design. Decades of domestication, followed by sudden abandonment, created the feral bird we see today.
Through photography, Wes highlights how birds form an integral part of urban ecosystems. In this interview, he shares his view of art not as decoration, but as a direct tool for documenting non-human life and re-framing how we share space with nature in cities.
